Updated: Sep 18, 2022

Make your favorite Cantina cocktails at home!

If you’ve been to Oga’s Cantina at Disney, you know how cool the drinks are. One of our favorites is the Fuzzy Tauntaun, which features a foam that makes your lips tingle. You will need to start soaking the buzz buttons to make the foam about 3-4 days before you plan to make the drink, so plan ahead! Follow this recipe to see how to make it for yourself at home!

Yields one cocktail

Ingredients

Cocktail

  • 6 ounces orange juice

  • 1 ½ ounces peach vodka

  • 1 ½ ounces simple syrup

  • ½ ounce peach schnapps

Buzz Foam

Instructions

Prepare the Buzz Button-Infused Vodka (takes 3-4 days)

  1. Add buzz buttons and vodka to a large mason jar.

  2. Tighten the lid and refrigerate for at least 3-4 days (the longer the better).

Make the Cocktail and Foam

  1. Make the cocktail by combining orange juice, peach vodka, simple syrup, and peach schnapps in a shaker, then pouring into a glass filled with ice.

  2. To make the foam, add 1 ½ cups cold water to an 8x8-inch glass baking dish.

  3. Strain ¼ cup of the buzz button-infused vodka.

  4. Whisk the water in the dish constantly while adding the infused vodka, meringue powder, and xanthan gum. When adding the xanthum gum, make sure to gently sprinkle it over the top so it is spread out around the dish and doesn’t clump together.

  5. Put an electric hand mixer into the water on low to medium speed. Keep the mixer in one corner of the baking dish to create a current that will form bubbles.

  6. Once there are enough bubbles in the foam, immediately scoop it onto the cocktail and enjoy!

Takeaway:

In order to make the buzz foam, you will need to have buzz button flowers (linked above) and they will need to soak in vodka for at least 3 days to get enough of the buzz sensation infused.

Make the cocktail first and then the buzz foam, as you’ll want to immediately put the foam on the cocktail when it is ready so you don’t lose the bubbles.

The drink itself is delicious and the buzz foam makes it even more fun! The orange and peach flavors are really prominent and the cocktail is very fruity overall. I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to try it!
