A sweet Florida orange margarita — YUM.
Here at Wishes and Wayfinding, we would eat Dole Whip everyday if we could. And we all know how much we love adding alcohol to our favorite Disney recipes. So this time, we went straight to the source: bought official orange Dole Whip and turned it into a delicious orange margarita.
Frozen Orange Dole Whip Margarita

¼ cup lime juice
4 ounces tequila, chilled
3 ounces Triple Sec
2-3 cups ice
Lime and orange wedges for garnish (optional)
Salt or sugar for rim (optional)

Pour all ingredients into a blender.
Blend until smooth.
Divide among glasses and serve with garnishes, if desired.
Sit back, relax, and enjoy!
Takeaway:
I was so excited for this recipe and it did not disappoint. I decided to cut the recipe into fourths to only make one margarita for myself. I found a local ice cream shop that offers real Dole Whip and waited until their flavor of the week was orange. Because I had the Dole Whip fresh and the correct consistency, I decided to omit the ice from my recipe to try and keep that perfect soft serve. This did make it a little thinner than I would’ve liked, so I think in the future I would either add the ice, or freeze the Dole Whip a little before adding it to the blender.
While I did use silver tequila, it was bottom shelf tequila. When I make this in the future, I will definitely splurge a little to use a higher quality tequila. That would have given the beverage an overall smoother flavor.
