Recipe: Frozen Peanut Butter & Jelly Cocktail

Try one of the new drinks from Roundup Rodeo BBQ!


Disney recently released the menu for Roundup Rodeo BBQ, which opens on March 23, 2023, at Hollywood Studios. This Toy Story-themed family-style restaurant will feature a variety of western foods and drinks. One of the drinks we’re most excited for is the Frozen Peanut Butter & Jelly Craft Cocktail. While we don’t know the exact recipe for this drink yet, we do know that it features peanut butter whiskey, so here’s our best guess at how to make it!


Frozen Peanut Butter & Jelly Cocktail

Yields 1 serving


Ingredients:

  • 1.5 ounces Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey

  • 1.5 ounces root beer

  • 1.5 ounces Chambord Liqueur

  • 1.5 ounces grape juice or grape soda

  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Add ice, peanut butter whiskey, and root beer to a blender.

  2. Blend until you have a slushy consistency, then pour into a glass and set aside.

  3. Add more ice, Chambord, and grape juice/soda to the blender.

  4. Blend until you have a slushy consistency, then pour into a separate glass.

  5. Take turns layering the two blended drinks into one cup and enjoy!

Takeaway:

I tried this drink without the mixers of root beer and grape juice/soda, and it was very strong. So I would definitely recommend adding those in if you are looking for a more flavor-focused drink. I used a small, single serving blender to blend the layers of this drink and it worked out really well! If you are having trouble layering the drink, try pouring into a spoon so you have more control of the speed and placement of the pour.
