Disneyland Park Outfit Ideas
Updated: Jul 12
A new park day means a new wardrobe, right?
If you’re like us here at Wishes & Wayfinding, you likely frequent Disney World more than Disneyland. So, even though you might be a Disney World pro, when you plan that first trip to Disneyland, you might feel like a fish out of water. How does Disneyland do Genie+? What rides are actually worth it? And, maybe most importantly, what do you wear? Don’t worry, we have you covered for all the first-timer information.Â
We’re going to break down our favorite outfits for a day at Disneyland Park. That means we’re specifically talking about Disneyland Park — not Disney California Adventure.
The good thing about Disneyland Park is that it’s quite similar to Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. So, maybe you can double dip with some outfits you already own — or re-wear whatever you buy for Disneyland next time you’re in Orlando. We know, how frugal of us. Here’s what we’re wearing next time we’re in Anaheim.Â
Stroll Down Main StreetÂ
If you want to keep it classic, you can opt for this simple, yet cute Disneyland sweatshirt. We’d pair it with this one-piece jumpsuit, so you can be prepared for the fluctuating California weather. Walking shoes are always a must at Disney — and these are our absolute favorite. Finish it off with some sparkly Minnie ears, and you’re set for a comfy day at the park.Â
May The Force Be With You
Show off your Star Wars pride in one of our Galaxy’s Edge-inspired outfits. Or, order something new like this postcard Tatooine shirt and Rebel Alliance earrings. Pair them with classic jean shorts and sneakers.
Yo Ho Yo HoÂ
We’ll be the first to admit Disneyland’s Pirates of the Caribbean is the better ride. So, your swash-buckling swag is very welcome here. We love this Black Pearl tee paired with a pirates-themed baseball hat and some aquatic jewelry.
The Eighth Wonder of the World
Hype up your Skipper by dressing for the greatest jungle cruise on Earth. Grab this Jungle Cruise t-shirt and some cheetah-print Minnie ears to really complete the outfit.
Back to Basics
There’s nothing wrong with repping Mickey and the gang in Disneyland. After all, he’s the one who started it all. We’d buy this retro Mickey sketch shirt a little over-sized so you can wear it with your favorite biker shorts. Accessorize the outfit with some cute Mickey jewelry and baseball cap.Â
