New Disney Deal: Dining Promo Cards Coming To The Parks This Summer

Disney is now offering up to $750 dining gift cards with your stay.

Did you hear about Disney’s latest offering? Starting today, January 5, guests who book a minimum of a 5-night stay with a 4-day park package will receive a dining promo card — which is like a version of the old promotional meal plan. This promotion is only valid when your booked arrival dates fall between June 25, 2023, and September 14, 2023, and can be valued up to $750 depending on your stay.

The value of the card is determined by the number of nights booked — not the number of guests staying — and the resort you’re staying at. Additionally, this offer cannot be combined with other discounts.

The Disney Dining Promo Card can only be used on food and beverages at participating locations at Walt Disney World Resort. Much like a gift card, the promo card just needs to be presented at payment. Most dining and quick-service locations in the parks and resorts are included. Locations not participating are mostly at Disney-affiliated hotels. Disney recommends checking with the location prior to making a reservation or placing an order.

Guests will receive their card via email after check-in at their resort. The email will come from Disney Gift Card Services and the Front Desk will be able to answer any questions. Only one card will be issued to the guest who made the resort reservation. While it can be added to mobile wallets, the balance cannot be added to the My Disney Experience app.

Here’s the breakdown:

Value Resorts

  • June 25-30 and July 11-31: $35 per room per night

  • July 1-10 and August 1 - September 14: $50 per room per night

Moderate Resorts

  • June 25-30 and July 11-31: $75 per room per night

  • July 1-10 and August 1 - September 14: $100 per room per night

Deluxe Resorts & Villas

  • June 25-30 and July 11-31: $125 per room per night

  • July 1-10 and August 1 - September 14: $150 per room per night

Note: Disney uses the terms “most nights” and “up to $___,” so the value is subject to change.

The balance on the card will expire on September 30, 2023, and will not be transferable.

Many guests are speculating that this is the beginning phase of bringing back the Disney Dining Plan as it has been absent from the park since the COVID-19 closures in March 2020. While we still do not have more information on when and if they’ll return, this promotion still offers an incentive to book a summer vacation and save money.
